Auditoria ISO 16363 a repositórios institucionais

Abstract

Este artigo descreve o processo de auditoria realizado a 26 repositórios institucionais de acordo com o normativo recentemente estabelecido, ISO 16363 - Auditoria e Certificação de Repositórios Digitais Confiáveis (Audit and Certification of Trustworthy Digital Repositories). Os repositórios estão atualmente alojados no serviço SARI do projeto RCAAP (Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal), um serviço de alojamento gratuito fornecido a instituições de investigação em Portugal. Este trabalho apresenta os primeiros resultados da análise das três dimensões: infraestrutura organizacional; gestão digital de objetos; e infraestrutura e gestão da segurança. Aborda o processo de auditoria e o seu alinhamento estratégico com os objetivos do projeto integrado com futuros desenvolvimentos relacionados com a preservação digital de repositórios institucionais.

This paper describes the audit process carried out on 26 digital repositories according to the recently established standard ISO16363 - Audit and Certification of Trustworthy Digital Repositories. The 26 repositories are currently hosted at RCAAP (Open Access Scientific Repository from Portugal), a free hosting service provided to research institutions in Portugal. This work presents the first results of the analysis of the three topics: Organizational Infrastructure; Digital Object Management; and Infrastructure and Security Risk Management. It addresses the process and the strategic alignment with the project objectives integrated with other developments related to digital preservation of institutional repositories.
